Kitchen Upgrade and School Feeding Program
On January 21st, 2024, Her Excellency Rossana Briceño was one of the many honored guests at St Agnes Anglican Mission Church in Mahogany Heights.
The occasion was to celebrate the Patronal Feast Day of St Agnes and to unveil the school’s newly completed kitchen project.
The “No One Hungry” Program and "Mission Hope Belize" were some of the primary powers behind the project to build a kitchen to feed the students.
“Mission Hope Belize” works in partnership with the Anglican Dioceses of Belize, supporting their school feeding programs and other projects in Belize helping families, children, and the greater Anglican church.
Having also been one of the contributors to the construction of the new kitchen and their feeding program, Mrs. Briceño had the privilege of officially inaugurating and unveiling their new kitchen facility. The Rev John Clark and his wife Jacki Bailey Clark were on hand to witness the ribbon cutting by Her Excellency, Rossana Briceño; General Manager of the Anglican schools, Ms. Jackie Cayetano; Principal, Stephen Whyte; and Rev Liz Tullock.
The OSE thanks Deacon Clark and the members of the Parish for their warm invitation and for all that they do to support the community of Mahogany Heights and its children.
