Equipping Children for Success: School Bags Delivered to Pomona Village

On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the Office of the Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children, in partnership with United for Kids, had the pleasure of bringing smiles and support to the children of Pomona Village, down south of Belize.

Together, we distributed 100 school bags filled with essential school supplies, helping children prepare for the new school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Anna Mae Ferguson for making this meaningful initiative possible and for her generosity and commitment to supporting the children of Belize. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Mariana Chebat for her collaboration and for helping make this outreach a reality.
