Belize First Lady Joins Regional Leaders to Advance Social Action

I was honored to join six First Ladies from across Central and South America in Washington, D.C., for the forum “Leading in a Changing World: Soft Power and Social Action in the Americas.”

This gathering was organized by the FIU Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom and brought together regional leaders to explore how we can use soft power and social action to respond to the pressing challenges facing our countries.

During the session, I engaged in meaningful dialogue, sharing Belize’s work in strengthening families and protecting children, and learning from fellow First Ladies as we exchanged ideas and built partnerships for a stronger, more resilient future for our region.
