H.E. Rossana Briceño participated in the “Fostering the Future Together” Coalition, hosted by the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, in Washington, DC.

Over the course of the two days, she engaged with first spouses from around the world, exchanging best practices and exploring opportunities for meaningful collaboration. During the working session, she had the opportunity to highlight the various programs and initiatives happening in Belize that are aimed at expanding technology and digital access for children driven by the MOECST.

In her remarks, she emphasized that as technology continues to transform how children learn, communicate, and connect, we must ensure it serves them safely, equitably, and meaningfully.

She closed by underscoring a simple but critical principle, that "when we invest in digital access, we must also invest in digital literacy; when we introduce innovation, we must prioritize safety and protection; and when we create opportunity, we must ensure that no child is left behind".
